“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity. The true measure of discovery is its ability to reach and benefit all people.”
– Louis Pasteur
The future of clinical research is rooted in community care.
Clinical research has historically been concentrated in academic medical centers and specialized institutions, leaving many patients and community clinics outside the research ecosystem. This model limits access, slows enrollment, and overlooks the real-world settings where most care is delivered. By embedding research directly into community clinics, studies become more representative, operationally efficient, and aligned with everyday clinical practice.
Community-based research expands access to life-changing trials while preserving the trust and continuity that exist between patients and their physicians. It allows clinics to participate in advancing medicine without disrupting care, and it enables sponsors to generate data that reflects diverse populations and real-world outcomes. When research is integrated into community care, innovation moves faster, participation broadens, and discoveries reach the patients who need them most.
Community Research Partners was founded by passionate healthcare executives united by a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality clinical research in community settings.
By combining complementary healthcare expertise, we design and execute innovative, digital-first and clinic-embedded research programs for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and community health clinics, purpose-built for real-world care delivery.

FAQs
What is Community Research Partners?
Community Research Partners (CRP) is a Site Management Organization (SMO) that specializes in standing up and operating clinical research programs within community health centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). We partner directly with clinics to bring high-quality, ethical research on-site while preserving normal clinical workflows and patient care.
What does it mean to be a Site Management Organization (SMO)?
As an SMO, CRP manages the operational, regulatory, and day-to-day execution of clinical trials at the site level. This includes staffing research coordinators, managing regulatory submissions, supporting patient recruitment, and ensuring protocol compliance—allowing clinics to participate in research without having to build internal infrastructure from scratch.
What types of studies are appropriate for community health centers?
We focus on studies that are appropriate for community-based care, including prevention and chronic disease research, and interventional studies that align with standard-of-care workflows. We are selective and do not bring studies that would compromise patient care or clinic operations.
Will research disrupt our day-to-day clinical operations?
No. Our processes are intentionally designed to integrate research into existing clinic workflows. Research visits, documentation, and patient interactions are structured to minimize disruption and avoid burdening front-desk staff, medical assistants, or providers.
What infrastructure is required to run research at our site?
CRP assesses each site and implements what is necessary—from regulatory systems to secure storage and documentation—without requiring major operational changes from the clinic.
What financial benefit does research provide to our organization?
Research can generate supplemental revenue, support staff development, and bring additional resources into the clinic—without compromising mission or care delivery.
What does a typical partnership with CRP look like?
CRP serves as an embedded research partner, providing staffing, systems, and oversight while working collaboratively with clinic leadership and investigators.
How do we get started?
Contact CRP to begin an exploratory discussion. We’ll assess fit, answer questions, and outline next steps collaboratively.
