Clinical Trials
Bring clinical trial opportunities to your patients—and new opportunities to your center.
Clinical trials can give patients opportunities to participate in studies of innovative therapies and help health centers develop new capabilities and sources of revenue.
CRP helps FQHCs build partnerships that pursue both objectives: broader trial access for the community and a financially worthwhile role for the center.

Trial access
Connect your patients with clinical trials.
Your center can play a role in helping patients learn about and access trials conducted by an external study team. We help develop relationships with trial partners and define the workflows for patient education, appropriate prescreening, referrals and coordination.
The aim is a supported path for patients, with clear responsibilities and resources for the work your staff takes on.
On-site trials
Develop the capability to conduct trials on site.
For centers interested in becoming clinical trial sites, we help assess readiness and plan the people, systems and processes a study requires.
That includes identifying investigator and specialist support, defining staffing and training needs, and developing site workflows and budgets around a suitable trial opportunity.
Sustainability
Make participation financially sustainable.
We evaluate the financial case alongside the clinical and operational fit. A workable partnership should account for staff time, facilities, systems and the responsibilities your center assumes.
Our goal is to develop arrangements that support those resources and create an opportunity for additional revenue through agreed study activities. The scope, funding and commercial terms are developed for each partnership.
Fit
Match the trial to your community.
We consider the study’s relevance to your patient population, the requirements for participation, the demands on patients and staff, and the support available from the sponsor or study team.
The right opportunity should fit the care environment and your center’s priorities.
Sponsors & partners
For sponsors and research partners
We welcome conversations with trial sponsors, CROs, universities and other research organizations interested in working with community health centers.
Tell us about your trial, the population you need to reach, the geography and the activities participating centers would undertake. We can explore a potential collaboration and the operational and financial support it would require.
We also partner on the development of grant-funded clinical trials and research initiatives.
